Beautiful little fish - I caught loads! I was really happy with my catch - until Sammi had one cast - and caught one three times the size!

There are only 11 bass in the pond - released in as fry in just May - yup, caught the first one - always better to be lucky than good!

The wildlife in the USA is incredible and largely ignored by the locals. Also, fishing a lob worm (night crawler as the Yanks named them in usual dramatic and overstated fashion), under a float is a very pleasant pastime.
ReplyDeleteLoads of wildlife - a lot of which wants to bite you! Didn’t have any bait but fly fishing is a lovely way to catch them!!
