Anyone For Tennis?

Stick Tennis. This is what I spent a lot of the closed season working on (I was only one small part of it - characters & animation). It's by far the best game I've ever worked on. Making games normally puts me off playing them, but this one breaks the rule.

So if you've got an iPhone I think it's a great way to waste time between runs (and I'm not a tennis fan).

This isn't an advert, I don't get royalties, just rather pleased with it. Plus the game is free!

Edit: It's already hit the top 10 sports games - that's in 1 day!

  1. I love the 'stick' games! Have you been involved in any of the others?

    1. I've worked with the Stick Sports guys for years, on and off. I designed the evil 'Bowlomatic 3000' in the last game, Super Sixes, everyone hates that guy!

    2. I should rephrase that 'everyone loves to hate that guy'.

  2. Cricket made to look like baseball? ... No wonder 'everyone loves to hate that...' :-P Anyway, how do you manage to do all this creative work (plus the really efficient fishing and blogging)? Do you have a team of elves working secretly for you? ;-)

PS : oh, and i forgot Jack's Pike, vol. 3. ... Don't get distracted! We(re looking forward to reading it... :-)

    1. Ah, you mean try and get a foothold in the American market with a game based on cricket! At least we knocked those smug b*stard Angry Birds off the top spot in a few territories, even if it was just for a while.

No elves (although I am training my cat to update this blog) two time management tips; don't join Facebook & don't play Stick Cricket online - there, 6 extra hours in the day!

Jack's Pike 3 is on target for an October release, should draw some now... But I think I'll go fishing...

  3. yes, you did go fishing. Since then: two fish (?) and one cartoon - not a bad ratio! ;-)
