Well it still really hasn't kicked off - spotting barbel - but not catching them. Perhaps I should concentrate on the perch for a while...

Did loose a pike - water is warm so I rushed it and straightened the hook on the tiny lure - hopefully see her again in the winter...

DeleteGood to be among some fish. The perch are definitely worth it, the ones I saw were.
ReplyDeleteWent down to the pub on Tuesday, found perch but they wouldn’t commit to the lures. Went back on Saturday first light and couldn’t find them - not having a great start to my Wye season to be honest!!
