Inspired by Paulos and Brooke's cool slideshow videos I've had a bash at making one myself. Thought it would take about an hour... Was wrong... You'll need sound...
Like it Brian, and am glad Kevin got in there as well! Was a good season had by all I think. Already biting at the bit, but the fish deserve a break. If I don't see you before try to enjoy the break... and will see you in the new season.
I've got fishing withdraw as well now - took about a week. But I do agree with the closed season.
I know the argument goes; the dog-walkers, canoeists and all manner of other human activity still disturbs them but most importantly they aren't getting caught - the most stressful thing that happens to them.
And they were getting pretty smart, hopefully after 3 months without seeing a hook they'll forget they've ever been caught - leveling the playing field again :)
I'm sure I'll be around over the summer, see you bank-side.
Cheers Lee, I've written and directed TV ads in the past - and now I have much more of an understanding of just how tricky the editors job is - especially when we've only got 15 seconds.

Lovely Slideshow Brian, a fitting end to what has been a very good season.
ReplyDeleteThank you. I've got video on my camera, so hopefully I'll get some video next season... Fingers crossed my luck will continue.

Fantastic Brian. Fast moving, holds the attention and with that barbel challenge theme really hangs together. Great work friend.
ReplyDeleteThanks Keith. I was lucky - it was such a fish-filled season I had more photos than time to show them.
DeleteAnd I realised when I watched the rough cut back how close we came to the wire on the barbel challenge.
Quite fun watching my whole season in 4 minutes, bored with it now though!
Hilarious! But now I can't get that Dolly Parton song out of my head.
ReplyDeleteA good year. You gonna come chase some more sharks this year?
