The Mighty Gonk


I thought the mighty gudgeon deserved it's own t-shirt. And they're selling quite well - on the Gudgeon Society facebook page - talk about a niche market! Possibly the first of the mini-monsters collection.

      Was going to be bullhead then stone loach - both of which remind me of tiny wels - and I’m hoping to bump into a 40lb wels this summer - fingers crossed...

    I caught a stone loach on rod and line size 26 hook and a tiny piece of worm skin.

      I caught one on a cube of luncheon meat - not even hooked, it was caught between the line and the bait!
