    Anyone know anything about Pike around Penton Hook? Will be fishing from a boat

      Penton Hook has suffered from poaching in recent years - it was one of the hottest spots on the Thames in years gone by - but I haven’t heard of pike being caught there for a few years.

      But who knows there might be the odd pike kicking about there, and the odd undiscovered monster - so good luck. Let me know in the comments if you get one - thanks.

      Oh yeah, there’s no fishing or launching boats from the island this year - but fishing from a boat is fine, you can launch just below the island.
