Persistence Of Time


A tree eating a No Keep Nets sign I photographed back in 2013, interesting but I thought no more about it...


Until I stumbled on it again a few days ago, 7 years later, wonder how long it will take to 'swallow' the sign?

    There was a thread all about 'when trees eat signs' on a forum I'm on. They always make me smile, coupled with awe at the progression of wildlife in the face of man.

    Go back in five years, the tree will be saying "EE"

      Yeah, love them - going to keep an eye on it now - perhaps a photograph a year until it’s been swallowed.

      Planning on photographing it every year from now on! Just read up on the Pitch Drop Experiment, don’t think I’m that patent!!
