Well the barbel didn't want to play today but I did manage to catch a rare Wandte perch. Fantastic! I then caught his little brother about a mile downstream.

It's great to see them, shows the water in pretty healthy as perch are the first to suffer from pollution. Always love to see a perch even if I'm fishing for pike (or in this case barbel).
