Was pretty sure this chub was over the magic number - I even weighed her twice - but a few ounces under at 4lb 13oz. Biggest of the season so far - and I'd love to see her again in February or March. One of fifteen chub, two barbel and an eel. Cracking stuff!

DeleteDon't worry Brian, you'll get a five pounder or two before long. I have seen a couple of chub in the Wye that would make your beard go white. Good luck.
ReplyDeleteFingers crossed. I’ve had a couple of sixes out of there in the past - but I’ve seen much bigger - could smash my PB if I could tempt one into taking a bait…
