Got It!


Rare as rocking horse sh*t, and my new (short lived) obsession! A Small River bream, 4lb 1oz - fantastic!! Plus three little barbel, all on ledgered bread in the flooded river.

      And we both thought I was mad when I was targeting perch on that river! A lot of luck involved in catching it that quickly - thought it would take months!!

      Just frees up more time to pursue more worthier specimens, if the Barbel on Wednesday aren't in play then I'll prepare the Pike gear and see if we can get the predator season off to a flyer.

      Wouldn’t have cared if it was a pound, great to add an ultra-rare bream to this river species list… Yeah, and 4lb is a cracker - cheers.
