Dylan headed back to the trout pond on Wednesday, I didn't join him but they have a live webcam so I left it on in the office. I missed Dyl catching (he tells me he did - but where's the proof? :-) but I did see a few others hooked up - vicarious fishing!
Pretty interesting & I'll probably leave it on in the background again. Made me wonder about other venues with a live feed - possibly make a feed that flicks between them or even a screensaver. If you know of any fishing webcams please pop a link in the comments - cheers.
And if you missed it; over the Christmas break James added double barbel number 11 of 40 to his epic barbel challenge - it's probably old news now but the blog post is here. |
As one who's school reports all read "Easily distracted", I don't think live feed fishing cameras would be conducive to productivity. ;o)
ReplyDeleteThere was a ‘slight dip’ in productivity I’ll admit - don’t think I actually got anything done until it went dark - perhaps this isn’t my best idea :-)
DeleteSomeone at my work told us all about a penguin live feed camera at Edinburgh Zoo - Don't think much work was done that week........
ReplyDeleteWatching penguins would be far too distracting - tries to resist Googling the Penguin Cam...
DeleteOthers have the cricket on on their 3rd screen. Me?

Thank you. Wow, that’s a lot of live feeds... Goodbye weekend...
DeleteDon't get me started on surfcams!
ReplyDeleteWhen I lived in Cornwall on the south coast we used to phone a mate on the north coast to find out what the surf was doing - how times have changed!
DeleteMaltkin lane Trent fishing - they sometimes go live in facebook
ReplyDeleteSometimes watch Savage Gear live on Facebook, they never seem to catch anything. Oh, and Exotic Fishing Thailand - they normally hook up to a good fish. I’ll have a look at MLTF - cheers.
DeleteCaught my first ever river Barbel from MLTF
DeleteWas it streamed live on the web?
