Quick reccy to The Wye, checking the water levels and searching for shoals of baitfish. I did take a pack of sprats with me and ledgered them in a few slacks.

And was rewarded with a jack and an 8lb 1oz pike for my effort. Not a bad start, and I’m hoping the water continues to drop and clear over the next few days...
