  2. The "Fishing For Dummies" cartoon reminds me of my first steps with a baitcasting reel... Am looking forward to reading all the rest - as soon as the postman delivers it in a few days time. :-)

    1. I remember the birds-nest days when I was learning... Hasn't happened for a few years now, but I doubt I've seen the last one.

      When I'm using a baitcaster I always worry someone is going to say 'can I have a go?' Yeah, you have one cast, I'll spend the rest of the day untangling it.
