Twenty-six Clouded Yellow butterflies spotted - beautiful!

And a couple of jacks on lures to kick off the pike season - fantastic!

Starting to feel a bit more pikey in the mornings and evenings now though :-)

I think today is the first day that we have sub 12hrs of light, the nights will now be longer and cooler.....but what kind of winter will we get?

Wet and mild is my theory given the fact its an El Nino year.

The pike were hard work - but good to get a couple on the first outing of the season…
