Radiotherapy session number 20 of 30 in the bag - and they are really starting to hurt now. The beard and hair were getting very ratty - so they've had to go. And chemotherapy round two starts today... I needed to load up on painkillers and hit the riverbank...
A bit of rain - dirty water and loads of crap washing through. So I thought I'd sit it out in a couple of swims, bit of bait 'n' wait. Great just to watch the rod nearly getting ripped into the river - as 10 barbel found a bait. Season total:
100 Small River barbel!
Well done Brian, you put us all to shame. Nice chun dimple by the way ;o)
ReplyDeleteHe is isn't it !!! best wishes Brian, get at it !!
DeleteCheers Dave, got to escape to the riverbank when I can!
DeleteBTW - I have one of those faces; the more of it that’s covered up the better I look :-)
Thanks Mick, I would be chasing those barbel every day if I could - but I think I get more than my fair share of fishing trips - so can’t complain!!
DeleteSmooth AF as always. Are you gunning for the Guiness Book of Records for most fish caught whilst undergoing treatment!? :)
ReplyDeleteCheers Keith, I’m not after any records… Not even keeping count… 130 barbel so far… :-)
DeleteBeing bald is a fashion statement!:-)
ReplyDeleteAll I know is I used to need a shave and a haircut twice a year - suddenly it’s every two days! Or as it’s now called a ‘buff & polish’!!
DeleteMaking it all look too easy as usual!
ReplyDeleteJust over a week left mate, hopefully we can sort something out soon.
I think a bit of fresh water helped!
DeleteCan’t wait to get this behind me - then go fishing :-)
Great catch baldy!
ReplyDeleteCheers Adam - it’s a solar panel for a fishing machine!
