Too many missed runs / bumped fish last trip - so a few tweaks to my perch livebait rig and setup. Time for a test, back to the pond. Four runs, three perch landed (2lb 2oz, about 1lb & one about 10oz) - that's better - but there's always room for improvement...

ReplyDelete[Edited] Shorter trace / bigger lead (restricting the bait movement), little bits of elastic band instead of bait flag (so it doesn't mask the hook) and open spool instead of bait runner (and quick strike). More tweaks as I go along…
