With a bait out for the perch for a couple of hours I thought I'd float a bit of crust about - and this 14lb 11oz stunning looking mirror soon took a fancy to it. No perch but double #4 on the carp challenge...
That's a cracker. Good size too. My pb is only 13lb odd and tbh, I like carp of that size. Look good and fun on regular tackle. Anything bigger and it turns into camping with rods!

ReplyDeleteCheers. Normal 11 foot float rod, 10lb line and a hook - that's all. I'm more of a wanderer than a camper!
