    I've said it before Brian but I so envy your annual stag encounters. They are magnificent creatures, did the house shake when it landed?

      I look forward to watching the beetles every year - and conditions just felt right yesterday. This one stuck around for about 4 hours before flying off to do important beetle stuff.

      I know they breed in the garden and don’t travel very far - but who knows? Haven’t seen any more yet despite keeping an eye out for them.
