    Sometimes big fish go for small bait, and/or small fish go for big bait. ... Why? ... Fishing is an art, not a science.

      All of my big pike have fallen to small baits. I think a pike will eat a small bait even when it's not hungry, when it will ignore a big bait... Just my theory...
